@WildNice You can't make kids happy on christmas without a lie? The real reason for christmas is pretty magical and wonderful enough I think. You seem angry man maybe you are the one with deeply rooted anger issues from being lied to by your parents. Also I agree the starving kids in africa is fucked up but do not see what it has to do with this discussion at all. We are talking about the tradition we have of lying to all our children.

@BlindHallway I seriously think some of you are just mal adjusted. Santa isn't a lie, not if you think of him as a spirit. The spirit of santa is real, in all the parents who go out of their way to make their kids happy on Christmas, so what's the lie?
