Damn, i love those Jeeps. a friend of mine had one just like it and i just love how bare bones simple everything is. makes me really wish i had one...
-
you're supposed to let it sit for a while... then start the engine... oh well seems to have worked some anyways!
-
ive always used sea foam never smoked like that looks like its in need of a vavle job.....unless u just had a small amount of gas in the jeep when u added sea foam....
-
hey dose your temp gauge not work?

@punchmaster123 yeah cuz cars just grow from trees.

@thedekester18 YOU live in IOWA? same here i live in linn county, and i have 1998 jeep grand cherokee

ill trade you my 1995 FORD F150 for it...

its not the combustion chamber, its the intake manifold, and its becuz of the vacuum pressure it creates...btw
How do you like that lil jeep?! whats the gas mileage like with it? I've been thinking about getting one for running around with. Thanks!

@akguys We both loved it until it stopped running. It got around 17 mpg with the 4 cylinder so it isn't awesome but also isn't that bad. They are a lot of fun and I think you should get one. Try to find one with the 4.0 I6 though, the 4 cylinder was a little slow and underpowered.

Did you guys notice any real improvements over the engine functioning? I own a 78 Cj5 powered by a 250 in-line six, which is having a quite unstable idle. Tried many solutions already - new spark plugs and cables, new coil, new distributor cap and rotor..; Unfortunately none worked. I was planning to verify the valve lash, but i guess i'll give a last try with Sea Foam before that. Best regards.

@cmtecarvalho Actually yes. The engine ran smoother, started up quicker, and overall just felt more powerful. It's not like adding a turbo power wise, but it did help some.
