you should get a ghost hand 3x3x3, I have one and it'll get your solve down to 20-25 sec.

I have a Rubik's brand 4x4x4. It turns really smoothly but locks up when ever I try to go fast! But the corner pieces never flew out. It was usually the edge pieces that popped.

i got my sudokucube at an airport... charged me like 7 bucks, and it sucks.... the core broke 5 days after i bought it...-_-
