Mr. Tran, that is very impressive! I wish you God's blessing in getting to 300 lbs. on the power clean! There's not many asian people out there who are handling that much weight in ANY exercise let alone an olympic lift. What would you recommend in making steady gains in the bench press and power clean and press?
-
@EndlersaurusRex hmm i see i think i get it pretty much
-
@muzimuzi A push press follows the movement of a dip with the legs and then driving up into a shoulder press. A push jerk has the same dip, follow by an upward extension from the legs, but then as the shoulders push up, the lifter drop back down into either a partial squat or split position, with the arms fully locked out. Tuan didn't have perfect Olympic form (i.e., complete lock out), but his was essentially a push jerk.

whats the diff between that and push pressing?
-
@nikkonaa lifting weights cant stunt growth granted your not 12 years old and you know what your doing
-
@needabloodyname much agreed... not impressed at all really, with your size he should be able to get that with a strict press...
-
I did 185 for reps last weak then going to do 195 for reps this weak behind on my shoulders just started doing that it feels good
-

@roughneckasian False as hell, dude. If Arnold could do it, so can you. You're using an excuse right now.
with all respect, why are you not putting it on your shoulders?!

yeah, I do not have the mobility that I use to have because of the mass I gained from bodybuilding. not the best example. but in time, I will work on geting the mobility back on my false grip to do it better

@roughneckasian Excellent work; you're well-developed and talented. Plus, I like your responses; you seem very capable but very humble, too.
