  • In 1932, Milton & Derwood left the Fort Worth Doughboys and started "Milton Brown & His Musical Brownies", and in 1933, Bob Wills, Herman, Sleepy and Tommy Duncan moved to Waco and formed "Bob Wills & The Playboys ... a year later, they moved to Tulsa and formed the famed "Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys. And as they say in the wild, wild west ... the rest is history!!!

  • This was the very first song that Bob Wills (fiddle), Herman Arnspiger (guitar) and Milton Brown (vocals) recorded in 1929 for Brunswick Records in Dallas. At that time the were called "The Wills Fiddle Band", and some times referred to as "The Aladdin Laddies". They later added Milton's younger brother (Derwood) on guitar and Sleepy Johnson on bass and became The Fort Worth Doughboys.
