Barefoot Running author, coach and RunBare co-founder Michael Sandler running above 12,000 feet on Trail Ridge Rocky through Rocky Mountain National Park. The ground temperature is just above freezing, with occasional snow blowing across the road. The road traditionally closes by mid-october due to heavy snowfall and stays closed until late spring.
