The neck shape is a very personal thing, I opt for a violin type of shape(C shape), though you can make it more of a D shape if you wish.

  • I hadn't noticed that you hadn't shaped the neck yet! I used a miniature plane and the good old power sander but had to be careful not to nick it here and there with the plane - . You are right though: it is a personal thing - lots of stroking goes into mine!
