  • Air compressed flows into the combustion chamber. Does elevation temperature into the combustion chamber increase the pressure? Does pressure pushing on the air flows out of the engine by turbines and nozzle?

  • Low and high pressure compressor must be reduced the air volume to increase pressure. Than the air must be accelerated from the fan...

  • Here I think we are getting a few things confused. Yes, the air must follow the negative pressure gradient to flow. That is the basis of any flow theory. The pressure right before the exit of the turbine will still be higher than atmospheric. Ideally we would like it to just be equal to atmospheric. [refer to p-v diagram for Brayton cycle] We want to get the majority of the thrust force in the form of change in momentum of the air rather than having a high pressure at the exit.

  • This may seem counterintuitive, but the pressure of the gas does not change in the combustor. (look up Brayton cycle on wikipedia and see the p-v [pressure - volume]) The flow has energy added into it in the form of heat which we would ideally like in the form of gas velocity. Thus, the geometry is designed to allow this.

  • Remember air outside is the same pressure. If the rear (turbine) section of the engine has the less pressure than the front, doesn't that make it hard to even push air out? Let alone push air out fast enough to move the plane.

  • I think it's because of the difference in pressure. In the compressor you have hight pressure and the turbine seccion has lower pressure therefore the air flows towards the lower pressure. In the combustion chamber you lose pressure too, so that's one of the main reasons the air doesn't go back to the compressor (it's practically imposible). There are other reasons but I believe this is one of the most important.
