In light of recent accusations, we're taking the opportunity to set the record straight. For a side so concerned with Tea Party hate speech, they sure seem full of rage.

@Radetzky19
Then you would not be a fan of the new bill which progressives approved on.
Also google "Patrick Leahy Betrays Progressives With Patriot Act Support"
Tea party doesn't give a crap about their base, neither do progressives.
Independents or third parties who don't pander are pretty much the only way to go.
However I do enjoy you attacking me personally for telling you to do your research.

@zoulkyud ok you idiot. I know both sides are at fault but most of the time the progressives vote differently so why are you talking to me? I'm not willing to consider freedom? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Wow for your information I'm not a fan of that bill so you can suck it

@Radetzky19
Its not denial. Do your own research. Its ignorant to say you don't need to because you hate republicans. This is not a democrat and republican thing.
Its funny they can't agree to raise the debt ceiling. However they agreed to pass legislation that would allow them to consider any us citizen in the united states a terrorist.
I find it funny you aren't even willing to consider freedom. Guess the patriot act is great in your eyes.

@zoulkyud doesnt matter. They did the sort of compromising that is expected. We dont need overly cynical people like you to offer nothing but a doomsday scenario. Sorry, the repugs have already used the mass media to cause mass cynicism and I am not going to listen to your load of crap and denial

@Radetzky19
They did amend it after some vocal senators complained.

Not paranoid. Read up on the act. The full name is National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012. Progressives, tea party members, and democrats alike were all willing to give up out freedom. A few disented though. Its a really good read to know who cares about your freedom and who doesn't. John McCain was its biggest supporter. Obama said he would veto it. (although it would have had a 2/3rds majority).
I did not say there is no hope.

@zoulkyud The Tea Party is full of morons. We are very fortunate for the culmination of OWS. Sorry, but progressives like Elizabeth Warren have proven otherwise; your claim has no credibility, you appeal to conspiracy and back yourself into a corner and claim there is no hope

@Radetzky19
The original viewpoint of both OWS and The Tea Party both was to get our country back and both had somewhat similar ideas. Where they are now is on opposite sides of the fence.
Democrats are sold out and so are Republicans.
I believe the same of so called progressives.
Read up on NDAA. They wanted the president to have the authority to indefinitely detain people.
This video though proves people are too angry and stupid to be useful.

@zoulkyud lol actually there is a group called "progressives" that do not stand with the blue dogs nor the repugs.

@jayscott49
There are two types of people in OWS puppets and morons.
