@zephcrow is it legal to go into here? my friends want to make a video in here but we dont want any legal issues
-
@zephcrow : Sorry for the mis-under standing, zephcrow. If you take another look at my post, it was made in response to CambioJoe, who referred to the magazines as silos.

@jlprtr I don't believe I ever called them a silo? The magazines are at a different location on the base. In fact, in an earlier comment I responded "The magazines themselves are not welded shut, but they are completely flooded."
-
@CambioJoe No offence meant, but as an old Nike Hercules crewman on Vashon from Sept, '62 until we turned it over to the ARNG, I just have to say that no Nike Hercules (or for that matter the Ajax) was ever in a silo. They were magazines, also casually called "Pits".

Raab Park in Poulsbo WA was once a NIKE missile launch site but it is now a park :P. Nothing left unfortunately. My grandfather worked on Trident missiles and NIKE's

@tailspinzz I lived and worked on this site in Redmond from1955 until 1958. While the site was being built we lived at the national guard base out near Kirkland. I spent 20 years in the Army, the 3 I spent at this site was the best of the 20.

I remember these NIKE bases when they were operational. NIKE hill in Redmond and another one. I grew up near Marymoor park in the 60's.
any secret rooms or basement?

I wish! Well, there was a boarded up basement room with a suspicious quarter-sized hole in the thick concrete wall that you could peer into. There is also a small, separate building I couldn't reach because of the brambles in the way.

Thank you! I'm very curious about these sites and I love to explore places like these to try and figure out new things about them. I wish I had made a longer video, but I was running out of space on my camera for pictures. :(
