i wasnt saying chris evans is a bad choice, its just i cant see him as captain america after hes already been the human torch, but im just being skepitcal about it..as sson as we get a teaser..then ill probally have a different opinion about it

@cgace1 yeah but heres a thought though can you take norton as hulk when he's been a nazi? or will smith as a struggling singl father after he was a cowboy? they're just roles and if they affect you like that then you must not enjoy films.

Marvel studio casting director might be a GENIUS! People first looking at an early Steve Rogers would not have thought him to be much...BOOM CAPTAIN AMERICA!...People first looking at Chris Evans.......hmmmmm A method behind their madness...just maybe.

Chris Evans is just not the right match for this character. His attitude and just plain acting style doesn't fit. But that's just my opinion.

Chris Evans is a good actor, but...I don't know. Like this guy says, Chris is a jokey kind of character. Plus he needs to bulk up ( 10 more lbs.) for the role. I was hoping that the director would have gotten, Ryan McPartlin, that actor who plays "Captain Awesome" in the T.V. series "CHUCK" on channel 4. He's got the right look and build about him. He also has an honest quality about him as well.
