"Thomas" gives rides in a goods wagon and "Clarabel" at Llangollen (approximately pronounced "Thlan-goth-len")station in North Wales. Other engines, also with faces, run normal service trains to Carrog during these events. For details of this and other events, visit http://www.llangollen-railway. co.uk

  • Great upload is what class is Thomas? 3F?

Shall be visiting this line again after a four year period of not going.

  • @JamesandPeter 3F indeed. For two or three years he was played by "Jessie", the Hunslet ancestor of the Austerity tanks, with side tanks in place of the saddle. Now, thankfully, she's back to her proper config, lovely in crimson, while the overhauled Jinty entertains the kids.
