I always wanted to learn how to play the sax like Houston Pearson he makes that sax sing. As for me I'm one of the twins son. Wishing they all was here. Peace!

She sings the best version of this Song, I like Carmen McRae and Nancy Wilson singing it but Etta Jones has so much more in her voice to me:) and it has the best instrumental too :D

So? Who are your other 6? I"m really still getting to kow Etta Jones myself. The more I hear the more I like. She wasn't anyone anyone in my crowd talked about.

Etta's career was 1944-2001, her best work in the '60s with Oliver Nelson and Jug. Some of the later recordings suffer from too much reverb and electronica in the orchestrations (as on this example). But she's on my list of the top 5-7 jazz vocalists of the last century.
