I heard someone say, wow "small towns, bitter, guns and religion... sounds like a Springsteen song!" then right after that the Boss endorsed Obama. He understood what he meant. anyway it wasnt saying ppl only are into church or guns in hard times, it was that ppl dont expect politicians to help with economy so they often vote more based on other issues like gay marriage. And the Marc Penn-Clinton Columbia connection is an example why we cant trust politicians to act in our economic interest.
