For a guy that doesn't fight a lot, I give the guy props for answering the bell like that. He might have looked like a fool doing it, but at least he showed that he'll stick up for his teammates when needed. Even if it is against Derek Boogaard. He knew he was going to take a beating so he just hung on for dear life.

@BoSoxnation1972 LOL Belak did not win on october 16th.... Boogaard could have ended him at the end but let him go. also the fight on december 6th was ended with belak against the boards forced to hug Boogaard to avoid getting hit. all i gotta say is go watch Dec 2nd where Boogaard could have ended Belaks life but chose to let the douch live.
