there is a lots of goalies in nhl from finland.Kiprusoff,bäckström,ri­nne,niemi,rask,niittymaki,tosk­ala,lehtonen.those are just the ones who i remember now

i don't find it weird when two goalies from same counrty are talking each other, even if they'r from different teams.

Ropponen, Backstrom and Sulander train together every summer. Kari isn't around. A lot of good goalies aren't. They don't know each other anymore I guess. They got old.

Jukka's workload is in Swizerland now. Finland is loaded with goalie coaching and, well, goalies. He doesn't need to be there anymore.

I believe Kari got injured. He was doing just fine before.

Yeah, I remember that. Jukka Ropponen talks a lot about Bäckström and rarely mentions Kari.

I wonder why he is not coaching in Finland any longer?

I think there must be something with Kari's attitude if he is not progressing with his NHL career.

I don't know about that, but I still remember this old interview of Jukka,

"Q: Who is the best goalkeeper that you ever worked with?

I have to say that it is Ari Sulander as I have a very long history of working with him and we have won several titles together. He will turn 40 during next season and still plays at very high level. Right after him come goalies like Niklas Bäckström, Kari Lehtonen and Pasi Nurminen."

So go figure. Does Kari have a bad attitude nowadays?

who, that is an impressive answer. I did not see much of Kipper and Backstrom, but Kari Lehetonen looks much more impressive than Niitty (even though he never won to Niitty). Is my impression correct that Jukka Ropponen was not very excited about Kari's working attitude?
