These ''clinics'' are really, in my opinion, a great motivation for young players like me. You get to hear pros talk about essence of improvisational playing and you hear them actually play their ''magic''. So, these things must continue!
I've been to one such clinic at my old music school and I've heard really pure informational gold from the mouths of Nilson Matta and Roni Ben Hur. After that they had concert w/ Lela and Joe Kaplowitz. Oh man, that was such a boost for my mind, body and soul!

Bob is the man. I wish he would stop my college, even though we are not high school students, we can still learn a lot from just watching him and the other fabulous musicians perform. Shout out to Lincoln, one of the BEST bassist out there!
Thanks-Cody( A.K.A. " The Pathetic Bass Player ")

This stuff is essential, at least for me. I like hear jazz, but sometimes it can be scary, specially when we try to learn it. And sometimes it's just great to hear a great musician explain things in a way that is accessible to anyone. It proves that it's possible to play and do it with pleasure, which is the important part!
And It would be nice to know what full time musicians do!
