Brillaint ! he's still touring you know ! His other early stuff is more Nick drake/ john martyn , but as good in a individual basis . Its surprising he wasnt as BIG as they were. Classic stuff though ! go see him live !

I had the original US issue LP ("Brighter day", Manticore, 1974) on vinyl which was distributed by...believe it or not...MOTOWN! They were attempting to still enter the Rock Market after the Rare Earth label beagn to run outta steam.

I have the studio album version of this! It's hilarious! I thought nobody else knew about it! I found the vinyl album used in the mid 70's, & still have it. But there's horns & stuff on the studio version.
