After my last video, I got a lot of constructive criticism of my Aysha. There were lots of suggestions, mostly centered around the concept of starting the elbow grip while the knees are bent at the top of the caterpillar and the body is ALREADY away from the pole. Fleur steered me towards a video by Michula from Antix Fitness that was really helpful (though intimidating, lol!).

OK...sorry about the Nutella bit...just teasing a Nutella loving pole pal. But there is an interesting lesson in that clip. For the last 20 years or so I have been obsessed with all things French (well, more French Canadian/Quebecois than continental France--but I LOVE both cultures). I failed at French miserably in High School, but really got back into it after visiting Quebec CIty later in life. I have no idea if the dictée is still used as a teaching method in France...but my High School French teacher used them all the time. Sort of the French equivalent of the spelling bee, the teacher reads a short passage and students are obliged to copy it down WITHOUT ERROR! That's always a problem in French, with it's reduced number of phonemes...and similar sounding phonemes. (and even harder in Quebecois, where there has been further reduction)

So I thought the little boy said, "I LIKE FILTH!" (ordures). But of course he said "I LIKE HARD BOILED EGGS" (OEUFS DURS). Ha Ha, they sound almost exactly the same. Still, it's frustrating...I was going nuts for a couple of hours trying to figure it out, because I knew it didn't make sense! I guess it's like pole...you can work at it for 20 years and there's still something to improve on!

  • Are you Buffalo Bill by any chance?

  • @Cheshirecat55 lol...OK, I had to google that one, since I assumed you were not referring to the Wild West Showman...or...were you? The character in Silence of the Lambs? "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again?" Well, we have something in common--I love thrillers and horror movies too! /Joel Lessing

  • I find this hard to masturbate to.

  • @MitchZer0II lol...bummer...but there's plenty of other good stuff out there. Good Luck! /joel lessing

  • I do have to say, out of all the things I've seen, I have never seen a man poledancing upside-down.

    Huh.

  • @GodTangrowth Thanks for watching! When I put this video up it was pretty uncommon...now we have more than 200 men posting in the "Men on the Pole" Facebook page and some of them are actually world class athletes. /Joel Lessing.

  • What the fuck?

  • I have to give you credit for being so very thorough in your answers and your general good nature to a lot of insults, some more thinly veiled than others.

If it makes you happy and isn't hurting anyone don't see the problem.

  • @Poledancefan

To be honest, I had no idea Poledancing was actually a sport when I watched the RP. I just thought you were incredibly drunk. Oh well, even if you were drunk, at least you're having fun.

  • @BigJuicyx3 Thanks for watching! /Joel Lessing

  • Well, at least this video made for a good retsupurae.

  • @waiwaiymw Hi WaiWai...actually, I lost this move over the summer and I have been trying real hard to get it back. The key that everybody tells me is to have the hips as far UP...and OUT as possible. Supposedly it actually makes the move easier--but I struggled with it for a long time and I still find it VERY hard to do!
