  • The Dog in this ad was called "Hercules", he was also featured in the Lord Of The Rings, Fellowship of the Ring, when the black riders descended on one of the Hobbit towns. also the fella in the ad is an Aussie! But the licence plate on the Hilux was definately a NZ one!

Should have won Best Ad at the Fair go Ad awards!

  • @kiwi50ify Oddfellows ad?? He's an oddfellow and he's ok....?

  • one word.... BUGGER!! One of New Zealands best ads!

  • Yeah youre right, ( way to reply to a 3 month old post btw, good job) The add was made in NZ, for all those arguing about the accent, i guess thats where the confusion comes in, the Bloke in the add is an Aussie, the add was made in NZ.

Guess its a half n half.

  • @Antifaith29 wrong definitely NZ

  • @LilPinkFuzzyMonster actually no they didn't, the Broadcasting Commission said it was fine

  • in nz a while back when these kind of ads were around, people took offence to the word bugger, so they replaced it with instead of saying 'bugger' with 'darn it' and fiddlesticks. it was never the same :(

  • kiwi's say "bugger" too, not just aussies

  • Omg back when it first came out, I was only a kid and I pissed myself haha

    Such a good ad
