Japanese Ghost Stories - 100 Ghost Story Game and the Temple Ghost

In old Japan to combat the heat and the oppressive humidity, Japanese would tell ghost stories to chill the blood and create cold sweats. One particular form was the Hyaku Monogatari Kaiden - 100 Ghost Stories game where the participants would tell a story and blow out a candle until there were none left. It was believed that at the end a ghost would appear.

One such game was played at a temple with drastic results.

@RoninDave I agree I just got done watching your videos of some of these stories. The one about The Faceless Ones, The Cursed Kimono, The Demon of the Bridge, and this one. (cant remember the exact names) And its almost 2 AM xD You just have to visualize every word, every event in the story. And your good at delivering the point of the stories! Please upload more sometime! :D

the story isn't that scary but the way you narrate it's just awesome. you could really scare people using simple ghost stories ^^.

first off i would like to say is that this story kinda did freak me out and since my room is in the attic and im alone up here right now its really creepy.And now what i was originally going to say(srry if i spelled that wrong)(also not tring to be weird)What if that ghost is a man that would be very crazy because he married a ghost
