  • Look at this huge splurge of interest in this video that's been up for 3 years, all these people coming over because the amazing atheist's video linked to it, and the guy who made this video is here answering questions and responding to comments! I just find that commitment impressive.

Not just gender based affirmative action programs. Especially true with college acceptance/dishing out scholarships. It is overtly racist and sexist, favoring 'minorities' to 'make up for' perceived disadvantage.

  • What the fuck? "women are complaining about men not taking them out" "Well thats because they dont have the money" "So get another job"... What the fuck is that bullshit? Women want equality, they want to be treated like a man. Men dont ask others to get another job so they can take them out to dinner and pay for them. Modern feminism = the desire to have all the benefits of being a man without any of the responsabilities. What a sad fucking peiece of shit feminism has turned into.

  • @mattiasjornfjord Yes men should have it easier to get those jobs. Children need male role models as well.

  • I like how these men's rights activists are using chivilry based stuff, usually around "Paying for dinners on dates!" to explain why teh feminism is hypocritical and teh wimminz are getting moar benefits than men.

Jesus Christ if you actually think that is a good arguement you are retarded.

  • @MegaWinnieGirl

You replied to rasmAn2 but you didn't bother to read and understand.

Interpreting your answers is that you are against inequality and to stop that you want to enforce inequality?

Since there isn't 50/50 men and women in certain fields you want to force more women into the field? Do you feel the same with men? Teachers at kindergartens are 70-90% female. Should men have it easier to get those jobs even if they had less education than women applying?

  • A solid argument for sure.

As someone who self-defines as a feminist, I've often wondered why focus is placed on equal outcome. It's not an issue that there isn't 50% male and 50% female entrants and graduates from medical school. That, to me, doesn't matter.

I would rather concern myself with opening up education to provide support for more methods of learning

As for custody, I don't wish for equal outcome of custody, but for the removal of bias which states men are inferior parents.

  • This is a very smart man. Glad I subscribed.

  • @selphiexfairy no, they are not "strawwoman" arguments. i have already explained how those are opinions expressed by feminists.

also, please realise that feminists are often guilty of "passive" bigotry. ie. being bigots without realising it. the fact that feminists only take an interest in gender equality issues when women are being discriminated against is a clear example of bigotry within the feminist movement.

normal, sensible people care about inequality that affects EVERYONE, not just women

  • @33LB those are all... "strawwoman" arguments heh. i consider myself a feminist, and I have to tell you, I don't believe any of those things.

  • @hannah11586 you mentioned how christians dissociate themselves from the radicals. but here's the problem- the radicals make the same claim for moderate christians, and claim that moderate christians do not reflect true christianity. so who is wrong and who is right? who has the authority to determine what true christianity is?

same goes for feminism- the moderates can claim that radicals dont reflect true feminism, but the radicals call themselves feminists- and theyre also more famous.
