Cartoonist and Illustrator Ian D. Marsden draws a quick sketch of a man called Professor von Dripp who apparently does not have a skullcap and is sipping a glass of rosé wine. Drawing in real time with a rotring art pen on normal printer paper.

@idmars10 nice drawing, however i'd say it lacked meaning, try to add jokes. its extraordinarily hard to make the beholder laugh at your work no matter how amazing the drawing. look it joke books etc. to get material for your work and then you will really go places with talent like that.

Thanks! Regarding the tripod, nice idea but I prefer plugging the webcam into my nostrils as I did here.

Mr. Marsden-
Could you tell me what kind of pen you are using? And could you also confirm if this pen comes with refillable cartridges, or do you have to dip when the ink is running low? Thank you:0)

Sure - I'll be happy to. In this video I am using a Rotring ArtPen which contains cartridges - but I often like to use dip pens as well.

One last question: could you tell me the specs of the Rotring pen you are using? I know they have different types.

Hi - sorry for the delayed response. I have ArtPens in different widths but mostly I like the drawing nib (not a flat calligraphy nib) and size F for fine.
