Finally i got some new parts/Sensors, ive been testin some radical new things this year
and since i have been busy, i have decided to make a small movie of what im doing, its the start of my project the levitating Bedini. its a magnet levitating by using a hall sensor and using the RCTIME of my basic stamp, its kinda simple, when the sensor detects the magnet it will switch on and off the electro magnet wherby the magnet can move arround freely cause normally it would stick to the electro magnet

once im done i will make the electrical circuit drawings, but for now this is my 1e prototype
to make it a real bedini i would have to make a tripolar coil, i will explain that in my later movies

in the movie i used my basic stamp as a timer and controller for the hall sensor, and a coil as an electro magnet, im using a normal magnet with a nail attached to it, so it stablelizes the magnet while levitating, i placed a small piece of paper so i can the magnet rotating while levitating

i will be posting some more movies soon, of my other projects i have been working on

sorry for the quality of this vid, cause i filmed it with my phone camera, cause my nrmal camera is to big to get this close to the magnet and coil.

i hope that u like this vid, or that it might give u an idea on how to start yr own project
and if u might have any question, then you can mail me anytime

thanx 4 watching/reading

ill be back :D

  • I was wondering if an extremely powerfull magnet could make an object float. If a magnet the size of a car reacted to the metals in the earth and then you used those stabilizers to keep it in control.... Possibly you could make a flying car?..... Just a theory? Do you think it would be possible?
