This was not the violin player Stephane Grapelli. The real name of the piano playe was Stephano Grapply. Two totally different people. I think. maybe, back in the day they had alot of trouble with names. Django was listed often as Jinago Renard

@ErnieHollerhagen Why is that hard to believe? Many great players are self taught and then try to polish it off by going to a conservatory.. In the end, everyone is 'self-taught'

It's hard to believe but Grappelli was self-taught on violin and piano and could play well before he went to a Paris conservatory.

If I could find my vinyls, I have that track. Was it called 'You and Me'? It was issued in the 70s/80s on a compilation. One of my fave albums.
