  • Pointless, you say? The whole point is that: 1) It's totally bad-ass, and 2) No one else has a truck like this one. "Nuff said

  • gotta love the 68. my first ride and true love was a 68 long bed with a small cam'd 327. i miss her alot. kudos to all that own a 68.

  • in the best PU body GM ever made! nice!!

  • @operazanotaijin

I made an adapter to go between the turbine and the Trans. It reduced the RPM by about 20%

  • I'd be interested to see how the engine is connected to the drivetrain.

  • @TCausey21

Sorry for the late response. I do not know how fast it will go. Not sure I want to got very fast in a 68 PU. And it to expensive to repair. I just cruise most of the time. Its sure gets the looks when people hear it.

  • whats the top speed

  • @vallebuilder , It's a tuboshaft engine. The turbine has a shaft at the rear that spins couter clockwise coming from a reduction gear behind the power turbine, the shaft is then coupled to custom brake system to slow down the 15,000rpm to shift in-n-out of gears before entering the transmission. Hope this helps.BTW, Great video Jerry love the truck!
