George M Cohan's, Give my Regards to Broadway from the 1904 Musical "Little Johnny Jones", is sung by Billy Murray (1877-1954) and played on an Edison Fireside Model A Phonograph from 1909 using a Cygnet #10 Horn. The Cylinder is Edison 2 minute Gold Moulded Black Wax #9095 from 1905.

  • If I am recalling correctly, I purchased a collection of Edison Cylinders from an Elderly gentlemen about 12 years ago and discovered this gem in going through them all. It is the only version copy of this great song by Murray I have ever found on cylinder or disc record for that matter. Yankee Doodle Dandy is from the same Cohan Musical is much more common.

  • @victrolaman Yes I do Its awaiting to be played on my 2 min edison standard have to await c repoducer erebuilding a few more parts on my edison standard then wella were ready to go
