  • It was actually a test done by nasa, the plane was remote controlled by a test pilot, they intentionally crashed it to rip open the right wing to test how jet fuel ignites when it vaporizes in a crash...

  • The idea here was to test a foaming agent added to the fuel that was supposed to make plane crashes less dangerous. There were steel blades on the ground that were supposed to shear through the fuel tanks, but the remote pilot missed and one of the blades sliced right through a turbine engine, which, naturally, exploded dramatically/

  • @dj88nascar1 actually strong winds prevented the pilot on the ground to land it was supposed to hit the landing block head on at the nose but he overjudged and caused an accident
