  • hello everyone, you can not do a camera test on youtube, you see how this video isn't hidef...if i took a standard definition camcorder, and i converted it through final cut, i could make the video hi def, so you can not tell how the camera is in this video, does everyone understand?, i'm not trying to make anyone angry, i'm trying to tell you guys the truth, go on my profile, the video i made "destroy build destroy" was filmed with a standard def camera, and i made it 720p, go check it out :)

Hey thanks for sharing your video. Impressive on that video. Perhaps, I should get Final Cut, would Final Cut Express suffice? Does the rendering take longer to upload to youtube if its HD?

  • does this need a SD cards

  • @HmongZboy

It does not use any flash memory cards. It uses a miniDV tape cartridge.

  • I would like to use this camera, for a single CCD camcorder, it seems to get the same color clarity and depth of a standard prosumer 3-CCD camcorder.

  • That is good to hear that a entry level camcorder has the same color clarity as a prosumer camcorder.

  • @curtismichael14 I think you mean no one can truly do a HD camera test on youtube.

Because If someone has a SD camcorder and the leave it in the SD format just to show people what the camera does that could be considered a camera test.

I think you should be clearer in your comment because saying you can't do a camera test on youtube is like saying you can't bunt in baseball... :)

  • that's absolutely horrible.

  • Can you please tell me how you uploaded this to your computer? You know like capture the tapes from it cause i have this cam. And my computer want recognize it, it onlu says mini dv-in on the camera but it dosen't pop up on my omputer.

  • hd is now the camera to buy

  • Daylight setting seems to look slightly better than auto setting.

  • @gmlasam then how did you put it up online ,

  • this quality sucks ass

  • not hd

  • Are there any weird things you need to get to get the clips from your camera to your computer?

  • Does the ZR 960 let you choose between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio?
