I was clearly referring to violence in America, which is based on Census surveys, FBI data, and cadaver studies. If you want to address violence over a longer period worldwide, then you should read The Better Angles of Our Nature by Steven Pinker, which might win the Pulitzer. Civilization was the antidote to most violence, and white people helped spread it with colonialism. When colonialism receded, violence made a comeback. The 20th century was not especially bad.

African Americans have always been more violent than white Americans according to all historical data and archaeological evidence. They are also more likely to have genes associated with violence. These genes and their products have been studied for over half a century. If you reject science, then stop using your microwave.
