I'm sorry but listening to her sing Home does nothing for me. No nuance...just bluster and loudness. You cannot call her a stylist...she's way too erratic and vocally unpredictable.

Jhud is close to it but her virbrato(if thats spelled right) is not as tight as whitney and her voice is deeper.I never felt xtina could do a whitney song like whitney.I think kelly price could sing a song just like whitney cause both were neck and neck in heartbreak hotel and kelly price was hittin higher notes in that song and sounding clear and pitch perfect .she didnt beat whitney but she was on that level

As far as mainstream goes whitney is the best,not to say that underground or just gospel singers are better but i feel that there are voices out there just as compelling strong and clear as whitneys that we might not never see . but i think Theres a few girls ive heard in church in the south and NY that really have that honestly anyone can hear it some girls in the hood have it.But most Are gonna keep their voice for god or just wont be handled by good hands in music.Whitney was lucky.j hud
