More commonly known as a "Lifter"... a simple structure (craft) of balsa wood, aluminum foil and copper wire is constructed. High voltage (20 - 30 Kv) is applied to the top wire creating the "effect" which causes the craft/lifter to spring or "levitate" upward. Tethering the Lifter provides for a more controlled flight. Among other more esoteric theories... we do know that positively charged molecules emit an ion down draft which is (in part) the reason for the lift. Anti-gravity, time warping and magnetic attraction are some of the more controversial hypothesis put forward.

  • like every lifter. where is the grid? why is it triangle? why aren't the wires crossing? im going over the patent right now and the patent looks nothing like this triangle.

  • The Lifter only demonstrates the "principals" of the BB Effect. I once used the fine aluminum grate from a (stove) range exhaust filter & strung wire across w/ a similar air gap & had great success. Any form of an asymmetrical capacitor that is exposed to high voltage... (if made correctly), should produce the Effect. The patent does look quite a bit different but the "principal" is the same. The Lifter has been described as the "Paper Airplane" version of the BB Effect. Hope that helps!

  • Did you win the science fair and what grade? What's another power supply and whats the hypothesis, procedure, materials and such?

  • Could you tell me hoow you hooked up a computer monitor to be the power supply?

  • @mujaku

your right, but the test he does in the video does involve ion wind or drift because it's not in a vacuum. A more recent test done in a vacuum shows that the Biefield-Brown effect does still exist within a vacuum, but isn't as powerful. Has anyone tested to see if a lifter can even function in a vacuum?...It's possible that lifters rely on Ion wind/drift, and couldn't float with only the unknown force.

  • I suspect it's a matter of molecular attraction as opposed to an air thrusting effect.

Fundamentally, that makes it a form of magnetism. My theory being he aluminum is seeking to bond with the charged air particles(ions).

This is probably related to how Hutchison demolecularizes metals and such.

  • We tried this and are having a hard time powering it. Any suggestions

  • There is no ion wind involved. Brown tested this in a vacuum to disprove the ion wind hypothesis.

  • waz up. im the human in the vid
