Writing a Business Plan

Part 7 of the E*Bootcamp targeted to the interests of Darden students. This is a free event open to students, alumni, UVA, and the greater Charlottesville community.

The E*Bootcamp consists of a full day of workshops and a reception/networking session. This program focuses on issues of tactical concern to entrepreneurs, for example: incorporating, building a team, sharing equity with founding partners, confidentiality agreements, business plans, start-up accounting, creative bootstrapping, and other funding concerns. Sessions are led by leading entrepreneurship professors and practitioners.

The goal of Darden's E*Bootcamp is to provide entrepreneurs with the basic tools to execute the first steps of creating a start-up venture. Unlike other programs, the E*Bootcamp is about basic blocking & tackling to get a start-up going.

This is an excellent video! I'm glad I watched it, so I could see how to make a incredible business plan.

My experience revealed that business plans were only prepared upon the start up of a new business, sale of a business or purchase of a new business. A financing proposal would be prepared for the purpose of obtaining funding.

OMG WITH THE RABBIT! WE'RE TRYING TO LEARN BUSINESS! every time i've seen a woman doing business related things, they start talking about their children and being a mom and rabbits and teddy bears. I'm not going to be against women or anything, but COME ON! ..you know what, just STICK TO THE SAMMICH!

this "one sentence excersice" has helped me a LOT! I'm having a bit of trouble writing my plan as well. seems that in every section i wanna write the whole plan again. I made it much more specific now.
