An Introduction to the Diversity Institute

The Diversity Institute at ODU enhances the awareness, commitment, knowledge and skills that are needed to develop leaders as agents of change in a culturally diverse world.

Inside and outside the classroom, the ODU experience spans borders, languages and time. Cultures converge. In preparing for an academically rigorous environment, one must acquire the skills that will lead to positive and authentic interactions with diverse individuals.
