  • extra nice! :)

  • @Bobjb999 you should check out Kandle Osborne's music(was in a band with louise). Its a bit more like mazzy.

  • I remember her from Lillix. :D

  • I checked out Louise today cuz I read she sounds Mazzy-Star-like,& Mazzy's one of my fave bands&their singer Hope Sandoval my fave singer ever.

Louise sounds not bad,but I don't hear much Hope in her style or Mazzy in her music. This isn't a Hope-style vocal melody either. It's an upbeat, sweet, pop-y melody. But Mazzy was celebrated in part for Hope's rare genius at writing &delivering melancholy-tinged emotive melodies that are more affecting than typical catchy pop fare.Hope still rules, imo!

  • Teehee, Jeff is so cute with his little maracas!

  • @liquidstone14 I mean, really. It took forever and day, The demo version of this song has been floating around since late 2006. Check that version out also, It's the exact same vocal paired with an acoustic guitar.

  • Decided to see Louise at The railway Club Vcr 2 days ago, AFTER seeing Lillix in Langley last month. Great story for the band but I guess the winds of change have blown through all their careers. No hard pop songs from sweet Louise sniffle...enjoyed a doobie and the noisy twang Louise et al provided anyways. Where's Liz phair and Nina Gordon when you need them...i'll post my love song to Louise (crying blue) this week...
