MY CORVETTE C5 VS MUSTANG SHELBY GT500 at SUNSHINE DRAG STRIP CLEARWATER FLORIDA

THIS WAS ONLY MY 2ND TIME AT THE TRACK, I DID 8.495 IN THE 1/8TH AT 83.58 MPH, NOT SURE WHAT THE STANG DID, BUT I DID A LITTLE BETTER LOL... IT WAS A BLAST, EVEN BETTER THAT I WON!! WEDNESDAY NIGHT TEST & TUNE 4-21-2010

That's not a GT-500... Looks like a Shelby GT (same engine as Mustang GT). Don't get too excited. :)

@oldlugs yea, he was at the track tonight, it is a Shelby GT, I was wondering why it was running in the very low 9's, just learning the difference between the two,very nice looking Stang though & the guy that owns it was just there to have fun like I was with no trash talking which was very cool. I ran an 83.388 at 85.98 tonight & now I have to where a helmet, that cracks me up!

it aint even a shelby shelby didnt cum bk out until 07 for the 40th bday but the shelby has asupercharged 5,4 liter the gt has a 4.6 shelby wulda stomp vettes ass in a heart beat i know bc that POS zr1 vette thats supercharged with the rear motor cnt beat my 2010 shelby gt500 kr but im also runnin in the high 7s in a quarter its built all to hell and ashely force has drivin it down the track if u dnt no who that is john force is her dad they are sumofthe best drag racers of all time
