This is my Green Ameiva, I just wanted to show the world how he likes to dig.
I love watching this guy.
For the substrate I used coconut fibe I covered this terrarium with approx. 9".

@NatureAtTheBest I hold mine all the time he never gives a fuss either. They can be pretty tame it all depends on how much human interaction they get. alot of ppl just stick them in a cage and never touch them. I use bath time to bond with it. they love a bath very good swimmers. i have a video of him in the bath he just chills there and sleeps while floating.

@NatureAtTheBest Ya they are good to hold. they never NEVER bite the hand that feeds them.I have one the same size. When i pet under his chin he acts like a cat.

Well I got this male just recently and he is almost full grown, so I haven't had time to work with him, I think if you got one as a juvenile and handled it daily or every second day they can get tame....this one is very skittish I handled it once when I cleaned its enclosure. It was fine once I got it in hand but was very fast while trying to catch, it didn't ever try to bite. Very cool pet to watch eat and dig.

my female is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fast and is really hard to catch!
anyways my local herp shop owner gave me everything including a tank and the lizard for free...lol
