  • The quirky sound of Nat Finston and the Paramount Studio Orchestra comes through, even on this vocal record. Note the moaning, sliding trombone and saxes, and the hint of coconuts.

  • Surely, the most lovely and talented of all the singing actresses to ever grace the silver screen. With no disrespect to the ladies who succeeded her, we shall not see her like again.

  • @bobparis You betcha! This song is first introduced in the film to a lot of synced sounds and scenes. Very clever and very hard to do in those early days of talking pictures. Also requires a lot of patience and mix to pix even today with computers!

  • I've never seen heard her sing this song. I've been told I look like her, but can't sing like her. :)

  • Just wonderful.

    Thanks.

  • Whos sing this song on the end of the movie "The Out of Towners?????"

  • Love this song. Love this arrangement and version the best of any of them, even ahead of Chevalier in the move. It's a close second with all the effects and wondrous editing. :)
