A segment of "Focus On Diversity with Troy Shaw." This segment includes discussion on Kiri Davis' documentary "A Girl Like Me" by Kiri Davis. The documentary re-enacts the Brown vs. Board of Education study in which students had to pick which doll was better; the black or the white one. The recent results were shocking.

Entirely true. We did a unit on stereotypes in one of my classes on anthropology, psychology, sociology and an experiment was done on labeling. When children were labeled the "boss" everyone did significantly better than those labeled "helper."
