@gf19711 Um, its not really what I think, however, the booth did not even take a second look when on any given close play under 2:00 they are obligated to do so. Coaches cannot do it. So Mike Holmgrens hands were tied and voiced his displeasure on his way to the locker room. But this isn't the first time this has happened in the NFL and it sure as hell will not be the last. Just watch the last 5 minutes of any bronco game this season in which Denver was able to keep a game close...

He got two feet inbounds but it wouldn't matter anyway because back then the pile on is considered inbounds.

Look, the bigger problem here is that this did not get reviewed. Regardless of whether or not its a touchdown or not it was never looked at upstairs. Now that being said... He caught the ball and part of his body touched the pile-on. That would equal possesion. Mike Holmgren was livid that this was not looked at upstairs and he was right to be. Even if it did not get overturned why wouldn't you take a closer look in a game of this magnitude? BTW, force out in 2006 equals possesion.
