yes there are a few better sounding than Ronnie Mcdowell..but can they say that they made a carear of their own style and had #1 hits!! Ronnie wasnt just about trying to sound like elvis.There is only one Elvis and only one Ronnie.

Sounds just alittle, but Most can tell it aint Elvis. The closest to Elvis voice is Domingo and Doug Church.

@zebrazoo1 Jimmy Ellis dying in such a terrible way just topped the shabby treatment Elvis fans gave him for doing those singles hiding his identity, the"Jerry Lee Lewis and Friend" LP all on SUN trying to fool people into thinking it was Elvis before they turned him into Orion. That was the Label's doing, not his. He was just trying to make a living with his great singing voice. I have both his and Elvis "Country" albums on CD and I did a mix disc that alternates tracks. Fun listening.

Creo que Kurt Russell no estudió muy bien a Elvis de los 70s, hizo un Elvis muy hiperkenético, no corresponde a la época. Como dicen los "expertos", los "manerismos" no son los de Elvis.
