we went back to chicago for this christmas just gone for two weeks as usuall. the city and hawks are awesome and still the best atmosphere in the nhl and ive witnessed a few. we got tickets for the classic off craigs list and had a blast even though we lost. what a great city to be part of.
A few years back my son.James and myself went accross the pond to Chicago,we went to see the Hawks and we will naver forget how friendly and welcoming the people of Chicago were,although the Blackhawks lost both games,its all so different now!!and now were saving up for a repeat trip.Cheers Chicago
2 loudest games ever were the 1st game Messmer was back after the shooting and the last game against the leafs! you honestly couldn't hear yourself think.
The last game against Edmonton and last night were the loudest I've heard it in 4 years.
2 years ago i was at the last game of year. we knew there was no playoff hopes but we beat detroit 5-4 in a shootout. when sharpy scored the game winner i didnt know where i was or what was happening haha.
Off to Chicago again tommorow for our yearly visit. 10 days in the windy city then 7 in Toronto again we can't wait. This time we are seeing the predators,oilers,ranger's and the lightning. Just one win from these will satisfy. Have a great christmas all.
this was fair at best. why are people posting these dull United Cented anthems? I don't get it. If you want to hear a GREAT national anthem, check out the anthem from the old Chicago Stadium... now THAT was EXCITING!!!!!!
