@ElecElectra I didn't get it.

It was about some janitors that eat cookies with strange chemicals in them and then shit out some blue fish.

It constantly suggested that there may have been some existential or spiritual subtext or something like that, but I think it was mostly about blue fish coming out of gentleman's bottoms.

A re-imagining of the immaculate conception on a low budget re-imagining of what it might be like to take acid if you will.

Fun in places.

@edkegger1 Ditto. You said it beautifully. I was not altered while watching and I really enjoyed it. I generally find "deeper" meanings in things (where there might not be any?) when I'm stoned, so I'd like to watch this again at some point and see what more I could get out of it, but the movie is solid on its own, without anything influencing the experience. I'm so happy I watched this.

I liked the song by Awesome in the beginning. That's about it.

So many people on here are talking about watching this movie while stoned or on acid or whatever else. While those mind-modifying substances may add a little to the movie, personally I watched it completely straight and absolutely loved it. I found it to be very creative. It was even laugh-out-loud funny in places. This movie just catapulted itself into my personal list of favorite movies. I'm recommending it to everybody.

This movie was amazing. So complex and smart. Loved loved loved it.

I liked how the main character was essentially experiencing all of this in the midst of an existential crisis. All of the characters had personality and character.

All in all, great independent film.

@1625w162d I'll admit, I made the comment before I watched the movie. I watched it when I was baked and I pretty much left bewildered at the end and I seem to think of the movie at random points throughout the day.

Another movie that did that for me was Enter the Void. Same deal going on except its a much (much) darker movie.

i know acid is nothing even close to what happens in this movie... its more like mushrooms with a fried out kinda feeling....

btw i dont think there is any greater message or point to this movie (although im probably wrong) what i got out of it was exactly what i got out of acid... a very strange state of mind that lead to some very deep thought... which lead to me being very content with my monotonous life for about a week...

great movie... if you dont like it... find some acid and watch it again... you will come around
