Women Mobilize for AIDS Hearings at the UN (1/2)

The Global Coalition of Women on AIDS (GCWA) and Gestos organized on April 7th, 2011, a successful meeting to brief civil society leaders on women and AIDS who are attending, the following day, the CS Hearings at the United Nations General Assembly. The objective of the meeting was to strategize and direct the attention towards women's and girls' issues related to HIV and try and build a common discourse to be included in the Zero Draft document that will be adopted at the upcoming UN High Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS, to be held on June 8--10, 2011.
