I read 2000ad for well over 30 years, I was 8 years old when it first came out, so I think I can call myself a bit of an expert when it comes to all of the characters.

This short film sends shivers down the back of my neck because its that good. With the popularity of LOR and The Hobbit I would have thought there is more then enough appetite out there that would justify making this into a full (18+) feature.

Sláine's favourite weapon is an axe called "Brainbiter". He has the power of the "warp spasm", based on the ríastrad or body-distorting battle frenzy of the Irish hero Cú Chulainn, in which earth power "warps" through his body, turning him into a terrifying, monstrous figure who knows neither friend nor foe. He is a devotee of the earth goddess Danu.
