I See You (Leona Lewis Cover)

49 years ago today my mother gave birth to me and who'd have thought that our rolls would have changed now as she lives in a nursing home and I have become the parent to her, taking care of her needs and helping her see the world and be her connection with everything. My mom depends on me for so much, the words of this song hold a spiritual meaning to me as I think how she sees things through all that I do. She's developed a bond that just happened in regard that I am the one that is always there for her. It's not easy at times and it can be draining but I realized that these days are important to her. Almost lost mom during the holidays, she had two back to back illnesses that almost did her in but with my perseverance and prayers prayed, my mother in alot of ways is better than she's been in a long time. This song like many songs I sing holds a very special meaning to me. Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoyed singing and making the video.

@razzberriblonde Hey Rach, Helen is completely blind in that eye but she is doing good. We are trying to pull things together to go back the second week in July. I like the lyrics to this song a lot. It was one of those songs that you might say was given to me when I wasn't what ya say looking for a song.

its a beautiful song Gare and i cherish my mom too...she just turned 82 last month and hope shes around for many more years...I love her very much...God Bless Gare and hope Helen is doing well also....Marissa
