I never thought I would make an 9-11 video... but than again this is not a typical 9-11 video (yes, it has all the atributes of 9-11 videos, such as Twin Towers, skylines, airplanes and firefighters... BUT...). But I always loved Suzanne Vega. I always thought "It hit home" was powerful song. And than I found a video to her earlier hit "Book and the cover". Filmed way before 9-11 it was probably not meant to be haunting... but with the skylines, airplanes, firefighters and upside down footage... it is haunting.
So I put the old video (which I just slightly edited) to the new tune. I think it fits perfectly. I originally wanted to include some of the 9-11 footage, but than I decided against. I think the video is powerful in its own way.
you are free to comment. Just don't go too political. And slight offence to nation, ethnic and religious group will be deleted immediatelly.
@TheEdMay Yes, this song was for the vigil project.

a brilliant connection you made here. bizarre, poetic, sad... wonderful to see the towers again portrayed so beautifully... all wrapped in one bundle of melancholy. important date approaching. thanks for this.

That is very moving. The "Book and a Cover" video does seem to fit the mood, as kind of a reflection of a happier time. Did Suzanne do this for the "Vigil" project? The memory is better this way. Thanks.
