  • @3MUKPLC So if you use heat to mold it, would it be a good idea to put on exterior pieces? Due to heat from sun.

  • @oROMINEo The heat from the sun could soften the film in hotter climates than the UK, but not enough to alter where it is conformed to. High heat is used to conform the film during application using a hot air gun, we're talking upwards of 60 degrees centigrade.

  • No primer needed?

  • @vVeazel Primer is required on leading edges, such as the wing mirrors. No primer was used on the roof partly due to the fact that the roof is a gradual curve.

  • Do you apply anything under the film or is it a clean, and stick type of thing? and hows the durability and if it'd come off easly after ware and tear.

  • @Loecked The surface must be squeaky clean in order for the adhesive to bond fully to the surface of the car. Nothing needs to be applied beneath the film. DI-NOC is fully removable, heat is required to soften the adhesive making it easier to remove.

  • What color is the di-noc used in the video?? is it black or graphite???

  • @CarbonJohn thanks captain obvious... if you do not want to spend $200 to carbon fiber mold a peice of plastic you buy this...

  • @A51D you can clear coat it...

  • I'm sorry thats not real carbon fiber...

  • If we sprayed a clear coat over it would it still have the same shine?

any drawbacks from doing that, besides the obvious one of not being able to take it off.

  • shame it doesnt have a gloss finish like real carbon fibre

  • @3MUKPLC Thanks very much for your response! Now, onto a perhaps rather silly question.. I am having a hard time finding Canadian distributors for the Di-Noc film. I would rather buy at a store, than online/eBay. Could you please point me in the right direction? TIA
