Miles From Where You Are (Ten/Rose)--For brokentimelord

** PLEASE READ BEFORE WATCHING **
I know it's a lot...but otherwise you won't understand the video...

A -very- post-"Doomsday" video :D

Somehow the Doctor manages to get back to Rose's parallel world. While speaking with an acquaintance, he lets something slip that leads the Doctor to rightly assume that he knows and has heard from Rose.

The Doctor learns that Rose is getting married, and attends the wedding. Rose notices him just before she says "I do" and runs out of the church.

The video is Rose and the Doctor's personal journeys to find one another in the same universe.

At one point (2:39-2:45) Rose turns to drugs (more specifically, opium) that cause her to pass out, where she becomes immersed in her dreams and memories of the Doctor.

From 3:24-3:27 Rose finds a message from the Doctor on a window ("You will forget me.") telling her to move on with her life and do what makes her happy, even if that means marrying the other man.

I wanted the "I'm miles from where you are" lyrics not to have the classic "I'm so far away from you" meaning, but a more "It's only a few miles. You're somewhere out there, and I'm closer to you than ever before."

I don't want to say anything about the end, because I think it will be best left a suprise. I'm really quite satisfied with how it turned out though :D

The song is "Set Fire to the Third Bar" by Snow Patrol, which as you can probably see is a very popular song for Doctor/Rose videos. I hope mine is a bit different though, I tried to make it that way

i really love your doctor who vids so i thought i'd give you a song suggestion. best friends by the perishers is pretty much perfect for the doctor and rose, post-doomsday, i'd make it myself but i suck at it. =(
