As a result of our increasingly successful efforts to highlight RBCs role in financing tar sands extraction projects, RBC was named the years most environmentally and socially irresponsible company. RANs Brant Olson is accepting the award for RBC as the banks representatives declined to attend the ceremony.

  • people invest money to make more money, not to watch it go down in value. Investing in green energy yields a negative return on investment. All you who are complaining don't have money that's why you can't do anything about it. All the people who have money are smart enough to not invest in green. You have to figure out how to earn money first, then use it to invest in green... but will you invest hard earned money in green when it will just lose value??? YOU JUST GOT OWNED!

  • Project Blue is actualy loophole portfolio to evoid taxes. God willing i hope RBC goes bust, will surely close all my rbc on this wednesday and put none ING. Every Resposible Canadian should pull off their money from RBC.

  • The funny thing is that on RBC's intranet, they post stories about being one of the greenest corporations and about their clean water efforts (project blue). They even have an environmental committee that employees can join. What does the committee do? I'm not entirely sure. I think they sometimes send out surveys. Nothing serious of course. More like the type of survey you would have read in 1989.

  • The flying saucer has landed and the toxic aliens are us. Yes I shared on Facebook.

  • 2:52 chem trails in the background of the wind mills.

  • Hmm Albert Energy Claim "Developers are required to restore oil sands mining sites to at least the equivalent of their previous biological productivity, which means the region as a whole forms an ecosystem landscape at least as healthy and productive as that which existed before development."

But there is no picture or example of restored oil sand mining sites, and in most pictures it looks like nothing is ever going to grow they're again

  • are you serious i hate that people don't understand the cluster fuck of oil was there lake a huge natural oil spill. the tar sands can and should be viewed as a clean up. the oil was leaching into the river long before we got there. try talking to people who work up there and understand what they are doing there. they will spread some light on your horribly miss guided views.

  • i really hope RBC suffers the same fate that Citi group and other u.s banks went through.
